| I only just completed Where you Belong twenty minutes ago! I started the book earlier this afternoon, and made miserable excuses to friends I had plans with in order to keep reading it non-stop until the finish. I don't think I realized how much of a fan of yours I was until today. I am bowled over -- gobsmacked -- by the thoughtfulness and scope of this novel. I wafted over to the computer and headed right for your website!
I know it's a bit of a stretch, because this actress is so accomplished in the movie business, that it may be very hard to get her into TV. I just recently saw Sandra Bullock's new movie, "Miss Congeniality", and can only rave about it. She would be perfect for this role, except for her brown eyes, and I can totally see her in any of the situations that Val Denning finds herself in this book. Perhaps I'm dreaming, but oh well!! I guess I mostly wanted an outlet for my very great appreciation of your authorship of this novel. I personally work an evening shift, I love my job but it makes it hard to catch a TV miniseries. I hope the series is well-advertised so I can set my VCR. Thank you, and may you have many more years of this wonderful creativity. A new fan, P.S. The man I'm currently involved with looks a lot like Jake, I think perhaps I have a bit of a fantasy going that he may evolve INTO Jake, and who could blame me? LOL!!! |
| Hi!
My ideas for casting actors for the movie Where you Belong would have to be: Val= Me!!! No, just kidding. :) Don't I wish though. :) For Val, I would have to say that I see perhaps a blonde Famke Janssen (she was Dr. Jean Grey in the movie "X-Men"), Julia Roberts or Lisa Kudrow. For Jake, perhaps Kevin Costner (you did refer to him in your book as a Costner look-alike) and for Tony, I don't really have an idea on him. Sorry! :) Thank you for listening, Kristyn |
| It might be a long shot, but for the role of Tony Hampton, it would be interesting to see Denzel Washington. Simply from the way he was described in the book, when I read it, I immediately thought Denzel.
