Recenly, my producer-husband Robert and I attended a beautiful memorial for the great composer Marvin Hamlisch. It was attended by stars from Hollywood, London and the New York stage. A glittering tribute to a musical genius. One of the great shows written by Marvin, A CHORUS LINE, is now gracing the London stage.

Barbara Emcees The American Cancer Society Birthday Bash

May 22, 2012: Barbara Taylor Bradford presented famed interior designer Geoffrey Bradfield with the “Man of Achievement Award” at the American Cancer Society “Birthday Bash” dinner at the St. Regis Hotel in New York. Mr. Bradfield asked Barbara to present the award because they have been close friends for many years. Barbara also served as Master Of Ceremonies for the black tie event.

The Bradfords are due to leave in a few days for Chicago to be honored by the prestigious Chicago Tribune newspaper and to headline the Chicago Literary Festival 2012.

A Great Review for Letter From A Stranger

This is a fabulous family epic due to deep insight into the beleaguered in Berlin during WWII and a wonderful tour of modern day Istanbul. The ensemble cast is fully developed with the romance supporting the prime relationship between Justine and Gran. Although conflict is limited to the bigoted mom as everyone else gets on too well in the present and in the 1940s, fans will enjoy learning Gran’s Final Solution that turned Deborah against her.
