| "Every little girl loves to be a bridesmaid, and I was no exception. I was the only bridesmaid for my Auntie Madge when I was six. The dress was all pink tulle and taffeta. I had a hairband of pink rosebuds and carried pink rosebuds in a bouquet of silver with silver and pink ribbons. My shoes were pink silk. I was so proud as I walked down the aisle of the church. I remember it well." |
