| "I still have this lovely Zandra Rhodes dress
which my husband Robert Bradford bought for me at least sixteen years ago.
It is made of pale blue chiffon, with a hand-painted bow motif in white.
Pearls 'ring' the round neck, and decorate the tips of the handkerchief
hem and the handkerchief hem sleeves. The back is a deep-deep cowl.
The pale blue chiffon is actually an over dress that is slipped on over
a pale, grayish-blue under dress with spaghetti straps and a handkerchief
hemline also."

| "This shot of the back of the dress shows
off the beautiful cowl back. Like all Zandra Rhodes evening gowns,
this one of mine is unusual, and always draws a lot of compliments.
I haven¹t worn it for several years so now is the time to bring it
out again for another 'airing.' "

| "I was very proud of this dress of silver-gray taffeta which my father bought for me from the most exclusive couture gown shop in Leeds. Pearl buttons decorate the front of the dress which has raglan sleeves. The skirt has pleats from the waist to just above the knee. I am wearing opal- and- diamond earrings and an opal ring which my father bought me for my 19th birthday, and a gold- and- diamante antique bracelet from the 1930's, a birthday gift from my mother. I was 19 years old in this picture, and working on the Yorkshire Evening Post as women's page editor." |

| "This evening gown from Place Vendome in London
is of white crepe, stitched with silver beads. These create a striped
effect on the dress. Another great favorite for the summer."

| "I bought a lot of clothes from New York couturier Pauline Trigère, and this is one of her evening gowns in black wool. It features many of my favorite things: a bare neckline, and long sleeves, with a really good shoulderline. Pity we can¹t see the hemline, which is trimmed with black fox. I still have this short evening dress, as I do all my Pauline Trigeres, which one day I will leave to a fashion museum." |
