![]() Barbara & Bob Honored By Literacy Partners of New YorkOn May 10th, the prestigious Literacy Partners of New York honored Bob and Barbara Taylor Bradford at a sellout, gala event at Lincoln Center (NYC). Major publishing houses attended including, HarperCollins, Random House, Macmillan, St. Martin's Press, Newscorp and many others. The Bradfords were honored for their extraordinary support of the drive to overcome illiteracy in the United States. The event was attended by many celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, fashion and politics. On April 29th, Barbara was in Columbus, Ohio to receive two awards from RT Bookreview Magazine. The first was a Career Achievement Award for her body of work in mainstream fiction. Additionally, Barbara also received a Pioneer Award, which the magazine gives to authors who have been in the business since the 1980s and before. Barbara's Pioneer Award is for creating a new kind of heroine that raised the bar for all heroines to follow. Ceremonies took place at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Columbus, Ohio. Barbara Honored By Brandeis University At National Alumni LuncheonOn Thursday, April 15th, Barbara was the guest of honor at the Brandeis University Author & Celebrity Award Day Luncheon in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In addition to her appearance, Barbara will also be honored with a special inscription in the LEARNED RESEARCH JOURNALS at the Brandeis University Library in Boston, MA.
